The bid opening location is barrier free and ADA accessible. The major items of work include grind with HMA inlay and installation of pavement markings and signing. This project is a Federal Aid project and has a ten percent (10%) Disadvantaged

Business Enterprise (DBE) goal.

All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier’s check or surety bonds in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such a contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to Stevens County.

All original proposals must be delivered to the specified place at or before the specified time.

No faxed, electronically transferred or otherwise transmitted modifications to the original sealed bid submitted at the affixed place and bid opening time will be accepted.
